Pliant - used with acute conditions and patients with dedicate necks. Ideal for older patients and cases of degenerative disc disease.
These blocks are inserted between C-7 and the Occiput while the patient is supine, it is not always possible for the block to be perpendicular to the ground. These blocks can be used with or without the Supine Traction Harness, for a period of up to 20 minutes for stretching and relaxation.
Administer with patient tolerance, avoiding any increase of symptomology.
